In addition to our pioneering work in sound, we are also entering an exciting new chapter as we launch DLMDD’s new Scent proposition, allowing us to create poly-sensorial offerings for the world’s leading brands.
To harness the opportunity ahead, we’re now on the search for an entrepreneurial sales and commercial lead to join our London office as Commercial Director. Here, you will play a key role in championing DLMDD’s innovative services for brands and agency partners across the world on a strategic and tactical basis.
You will be responsible for growing existing and inspiring new senior and junior client relationships, opening the door and paving the way for the next level of creative possibilities in the world of brand sound and scent, strengthening our relationships through strategic confidence as well as creative proof, and ultimately achieving the agency’s sales targets.
You will achieve this through your own direct efforts and by leading the sales teams within the business to elevate their approach and achieve their own targets. To do this, you will evolve the sales process by systemising the approach and driving accountability, as well as utilising the individual brilliance and networks of the existing team members.
What will success look like?
- Increase in line with the business’s commercial targets, the volume of revenue and gross profit within the business as a result of the opportunities you personally create and the team you build
- Expansion of creative agency client base with productive relationships at senior, mid, and junior level
- An improved pipeline value and an increase in the number of advertising, sonic and scent projects being considered, pitched for, and won
- A development of the perception of the agency as pioneers of poly-sensorial activity and creative innovators
- A development of international sound and scent opportunities from Europe, Asia and the USA
- A team of motivated A-listers all achieving their targets
- Full and frank transparency of the sales and commercial picture at all times
Key responsibilities
- You will lead and own the agency’s plans and strategies for developing business and achieving sales goals in line with a targeted expansion plan, working to and exceeding growth targets.
- You will be responsible for your own revenue goals as well as those of your team.
- You will evangelise and deliver the DLMDD mission across sound and scent to brand and agency partners across the world
- To lead, motivate, develop, and hold to account the sales teams
- To establish, foster, and convert partnerships and relationships with key customers internationally
- To produce sales forecasts and KPI reporting for the Directors and leadership team
- To work collaboratively with divisions across the agency to deliver world-beating pitches and creative ideas
- To commercialise and take to market the agency’s latest productisation and creative proof
- To drive adoption of our systems and processes to ensure a consistent client experience, sales transparency, and internal accountability
The role will initially be focused mainly on our sound proposition, with a rising importance of scent as this business grows.

Requirements & experience
- 7+ years of experience in a target-driven sales-focused role with a demonstrable track record for tactical and strategic growth
- You can play an instrument, and you’re a proper music, sound, and multisensory lover
- You will have a track record of leading a sales/commercial team, relishing the client chase, and the motivation and development of your team
