When the team behind the documentary approached DLMDD, the challenge was clear: to craft a sonic experience that could hold the scale of Elton’s career while revealing the intimacy beneath the sequins.
Approach
From supervising and licensing nine of Elton’s iconic tracks to weaving new sonic threads through his archive, DLMDD brought together the worlds of fashion, fame and feeling, all bound by a single golden motif.
