Thankfully Barilla have stepped in to take guessing out of the equation with their brilliant pasta playlists. The brand teamed up with Spotify to make a series of playlists whose durations correspond to the cooking time of their pasta shapes.

The campaign, ‘Playlist Timer’ includes eight playlists combining popular music genres in Italy with your choice of pasta, so you can set the mood perfectly while you cook. From ‘Pleasant Melancholy Penne’ to ‘Top Hits Spaghetti’ to ‘Moody Day Linguine’, there’s something for everyone, with a mix of big names such as Nas, Fiona Apple, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, and The Beatles, paired with and Italian artists.
It’s brought a unique fun and a point of interest to the brand, while also helping its consumers enjoy their products at their best. Bellissimo!

And this isn’t Spotify’s first foray into the world of cooking timers- around holiday season they debuted a Turkey Timer, where users need only to select the weight of their turkey and whether it’s stuffed or not stuffed, and the app will recommend what temperature to cook your turkey at and how long to let it roast with playlists including R&B, country, oldies, holidays, Latin, or pop perfectly timed to accompany your endeavours.
